This is a 2 generation quilt...
stitched together using scraps in the early 80's.
These 4 patches are not small nor are they
very big. The 4 patches make up about a 6 inch
block and alternated with cream squares.
My mother helped me hand quilt this one. She did
a lot of hand quilting on this quilt. On this

My mother helped me hand quilt this one. She did
a lot of hand quilting on this quilt. On this
quilt I never bothered with using a quilting pattern
as most of it is free handed. The only exception
is the border where I stitched a cable
as most of it is free handed. The only exception
is the border where I stitched a cable
that I lightly drew on.
This quilt has never been used either.

It will always hold a special place in my heart
- especially since the death of my mother.
